Tracking a soggy Tuesday with more chances for scattered storms

Today: Scattered storms continue into the afternoon with isolated severe hail and winds in southeastern Missouri. Flooding is also a concern areawide after several rounds of storms recently so take it slow on roadways.

Tonight: Isolated storms fire up along a boundary overnight bringing heavy downpours and lightning. Lows cool to the mid-60s.

Extended: Wednesday sees rising temperatures into the lower 90s as the day starts off dry. Late afternoon/evening scattered showers and storms remain possible. Thursday could also see more chances for isolated showers and storms. Conditions cool beginning Friday into the weekend with highs leaning towards the mid to upper 80s.
