Tracking more scattered storms and hot temperatures

This Afternoon: Highs reach the upper 80s as showers and storms move into the region. Brief heavy downpours and gusty winds remain the primary impacts with some isolated storms in southwestern portions of Mid-Missouri seeing a potential of becoming strong to severe.

Tonight: Lows cool to the mid-60s as isolated storms continue overnight.

Extended: Tuesday welcomes more chances of scattered showers and storms during the late morning hours lasting into the evening. Primary impacts look to be brief downpours and gusty winds. Wednesday and Thursday see a slight increase in temperatures into the lower 90s. More chances of scattered showers/storms are possible Thursday before dry conditions settle in late week.
