Tracking afternoon scattered storms with mid-week rising temperatures

Today: High's rise into the upper 80s as chances for a few scattered showers and storms move into the region. Brief heavy downpours and gusty winds remain the primary impacts with some isolated storms in southwestern portions of Mid-Missouri seeing a potential strong to severe storm possible.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the upper 60s with a few lingering isolated showers/ storms remaining.

Extended: Tuesday welcomes more chances of scattered showers and storms during the late morning hours lasting into the evening. Main impacts look to be brief downpours and gusty winds. Highs cool to the mid-80s. Wednesday and Thursday sees a slight increase in temperatures into the lower 90s. Thursday welcomes more chances of scattered showers/ storms before a dry rest of the week into the weekend.
