Tracking scattered storms as daily rain chances return
Today: Sunday starts off dry with increasing cloud cover and temperatures approaching 90 degrees before noon. Scattered showers and storms will move in from the northwest by early afternoon bringing a low risk for severe winds and hail. Storms are not expected to exit the vicinity until late overnight.
Tomorrow: Monday will be a near repeat of the day before, starting off drier and warming near 90 quickly. Some rain is expected but will be very isolated with subsevere thunderstorms possible late in the day.
Extended: A better chance for rain returns Tuesday with scattered storms possible, before we flip back to drier conditions again Wednesday. More rain is forecast on Thursday, with highs steadily hovering around 90 through this active pattern. As rainfall remains sporadic, totals generally only amount to 1 to 2 inches for the week ahead.
