Tracking the last dry conditions before a stormy end to the week

TONIGHT: I'm tracking partly cloudy skies clearing into the nighttime hours, and temperatures cooling off into the low 60s. Winds will be shifting into the SW at 4-8 mph.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking mostly sunny skies and temperatures warming up into the low 90s. Winds will be from the SW at 5-8 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking scattered rain/storm chances starting Tuesday, but the most consistent chances are spread Wednesday through Friday. As of right now through the back half of the week, I have chances of rain at 50% for each day until the weekend, and this could increase as the work week continues. A low staying stationary to the north of us in Canada will be the main culprit of these storm systems moving through. If these chances play out, mid-Missouri could realistically see 2 inches of rain on average, as lots of rounds are tracking to sweep through the area. This will be much needed as Missouri has been suffering from a lack of rainfall, with most of our viewing area in an extreme drought (level 3) and some areas in a severe drought (level 2).
