Tracking afternoon showers and storms lasting into weekend

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the mid-80s as winds remain out of the southwest. After 1 PM, showers and storms move into the region remaining scattered.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid to upper 60s as scattered showers and storms remain throughout the area. Winds remain out of the southwest.

Extended: Saturday sees more chances of scattered showers and storms throughout the day lasting into Sunday morning. Highs peak into the lower 80s this weekend before a warm-up beginning next week with temperatures approaching into the lower 90s. Chances of showers and storms increase once again by mid-week.
