Tracking a drier start to the week with above average temperatures

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the lower 90s with partly cloudy skies. Winds remain out of the southwest at 5 MPH.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the upper 60s as skies remain partly cloudy with winds out of the southwest at 5-10 MPH.

Extended: Tuesday remains dry across most of Mid-Missouri with the exception of southern portions of the region such as Pulaski and Phelps counties who could see some scattered brief showers this evening. Wednesday sees scattered showers and storms as a front passes through before cooling temperatures into the mid-80s for the second half of the week.
