Tracking a brief clearing before more storm chances later in the week

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a gradual clearing of skies across mid-Missouri as the last of the storms move out of the viewing area. There will be a calming of winds, as they'll be going 3-6 mph, shifting to the west, and temperatures will be dropping down into the high 60s.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking partly cloudy skies and mostly dry conditions in the forecasted area. Temperatures will be warming back up into the low 90s by the afternoon.

EXTENDED: On the 4th of July, Tuesday, there are some slight scattered storm chances through Missouri. As of right now, any of these systems are tracking to stay over the Ozarks and further SE. If any storms make it further north, timing is expected to be in the afternoon, and they'll be pop up systems rather than consistent. Our next consistent shower/storm chances come Wednesday into Thursday as another cold front pushes through Missouri. Timing as of right now is moving the cold front through the majority of Wednesday, with lingering showers lasting through Thursday morning. This cold front will help temperatures drop down into the mid 80s for the rest of the week. As we end the week, there are some more shower chances on the way, setting up for the potential of another wet weekend.
