Tracking a dry rest of the week with scattered showers and storms possible this weekend

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the upper 80s as partly cloudy sky conditions increase. The UV Index climbs to a level 10 as winds remain out of the east at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid-60s with winds out of the north at 4-8 mph and mostly clear skies.

Extended: This weekend sees highs climb into the mid-90s with increasing humidity leading to the heat index climbing into the upper 90s. A slight chance for scattered showers and storms arrives Saturday evening lasting through Sunday. Rainfall totals remain up to 1/2". Next week starts out dry with highs near 90 degrees.
