Tracking more clouds midweek with still extreme UV levels

KMIZ

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the lower 80s as skies become partly cloudy. The UV Index will reach 11, extreme levels that can burn you in as little as 15 minutes.

Tonight: Lows cool back to the mid-60s as clouds stick around. Winds remain out of the east at 5-10 mph.

Extended: Temperatures look to increase into the weekend into the mid-90s, along with a return of moisture. This could increase our heat index values, and also bring chances of showers and t-storms Saturday afternoon/evening into Sunday. The start of next week looks to be dry with highs clinging to the lower 90s.
