Tracking a dry week ahead after storms on Father’s Day

TONIGHT: I'm tracking the last chances of isolated storm and shower chances exiting as we get into the early evening hours. None of these are expected to be severe, but we could see a few select systems produce heavy rain and lightning. As we get into the evening hours, these threats will calm down and exit the area. If you have any plans to go have a Father's Day dinner out and about, make sure to at least have an umbrella or rain jacket.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures as we get up into the high 80s. Winds will be coming from the NE at 5-10 mph, with gusts up to 15 mph.

EXTENDED: The rest of the week is looking relatively dry and sunny, as temperatures consistently reach the upper 80s and low 90s. As we get into next weekend, we could see another active pattern set up that brings mid-Missouri more much needed rain and storms, but as of right now confidence is low. With my current forecast, I'm expecting those highest possibilities to arrive late Saturday night into Sunday.
