Tracking plenty of sunshine with warming temperatures through the week

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the lower 80s with mostly sunny skies. Winds remain out of the west/ northwest at 8-12 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool near 60 degrees with mostly clear skies and winds out of the north at 5-10 mph.

Extended: Wednesday and Thursday continue to see rising temperatures and mostly sunny skies. By Friday, scattered showers and storms move into the region. More chances of storms return Saturday afternoon with highs into the mid-80s.
