Tracking isolated chances for storms ahead of more widespread weekend showers

This Afternoon: Highs reach the lower 80s as a result of yesterday's passing cold front. A few isolated showers and storms are possible in western portions of Mid-Missouri with most areas staying dry this afternoon.

Tonight: Lows cool to the mid-50s with mostly clear skies. Winds remain out of the east at 5-10 mph.

Extended: A warming trend kicks in approaching Saturday where chances of showers and storms increase. Storms begin Saturday evening and become widespread into Sunday with an incoming cold front. Highs cool about 10 degrees into Sunday resulting in highs only reaching into the upper 70s. Rainfall over the weekend could bring relief up to 1-2" areawide.
