Track scattered showers and storms with a slight cool down

Today: Afternoon highs climb into the mid-80s as a back door cold front passes from the northwest to the southwest. Scattered showers and storms remain possible with brief heavy downpours, lighting, and gusty winds being the main impacts.

Tonight: overnight lows cool to the upper 50s as winds remain out of the northwest at 5-10 mph. Skies remain mostly cloudy with a few lingering isolated showers possible.

Extended: Thursday sees highs into the lower 80s with drier conditions. Temperatures climb into the upper 80s approaching Saturday. Saturday evening sees scattered chances of showers and storms becoming more widespread with a cold front passage into Sunday. Temperatures cool to the upper 70s Sunday.
