Tracking a sunny afternoon with a mid-week cold front

Today: Afternoon highs climb near 90 degrees with winds out of the northeast at 5-10 mph. Skies remain mostly sunny.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the lower 60s thanks to continuous winds out of the northeast at 4-8 mph. Overnight sky conditions remain mostly clear.

Extended: Tuesday follows a very similar outcome to Monday. A cold front moves in form the northeast Wednesday sparking afternoon scattered showers and storms. The main impacts of these storms will be brief heavy downpours, lightning, and gusty winds. These showers look to exit early Thursday morning. Temperatures cool slightly into the second half of the week following this cold front leading to highs into the mid-80s. More chances of showers and storms arrive by Saturday and Sunday.
