Tracking warming temperatures for Memorial Day

MEMORIAL DAY: Temperatures will be noticeably warmer this afternoon in the upper 80s. Luckily, humidity holds off for the holiday, making for a mostly comfortable and sunny day.

TOMORROW: Highs break into the lower 90s as southerly winds increase, which also leads to an uptick in humidity. This heat and moisture combo could produce afternoon pulse thunderstorms but activity will be very isolated.

EXTENDED: High pressure in the upper atmosphere will dampen most storm activity for the week ahead, with more afternoon storms possible each day through Friday. Rain amounts for the entire 7-day period add up to under 0.25". Highs will consistently reach the lower 90s along with increased mugginess this week so be sure to stay hydrated!
