Tracking lower humidity through the holiday with mugginess returning later this week

TODAY: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the lower 80s.

MEMORIAL DAY: Staying dry and warm with temperatures further into the 80s. Humidity could be noticeable Monday, but will make a bigger return the rest of the week.

EXTENDED: We'll be stuck in a blocking pattern next week with low pressure trapped underneath the upper level jet stream that will be fixed to our north. This means temperatures will have the chance to reach 10 degrees above average around 90 for much of the week, with limited chances for organized showers and storms. However, there will be a daily chance of airmass thunderstorms that are triggered by the heat and humidity of the day between Wednesday and Friday. These will be isolated in nature and not everyone will see rain. If storms do develop, they'll lose intensity and dissipate each evening as the sun sets.
