Tracking a warm and sunny Memorial Day weekend

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the lower 80s as winds switch out of the east at 5-10 mph. A few isolated showers are possible around the Lake of the Ozarks to Sedalia region which look to pop-up and then remain short-lived dissipating after sunset.

Tonight: Winds increase out of the east with gusts up to 20 mph possible out of the east with mostly clear skies.

Extended: Friday sees highs fall slightly to the upper 70s with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures then begin a warming trend into this weekend with highs warming into the mid-50s by Sunday. Conditions remain mostly sunny with lower levels of humidity. Next week, temperatures continue to warm reaching 90 degrees by Wednesday.
