Tracking a warmer Wednesday with a few isolated storms possible

TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows in the lower 60s. Spot storm possible late near the Lake of the Ozarks and the I-44 corridor.

TOMORROW: Partly sunny with an isolated shower or storm. A little more humid with highs in the mid-80s.

EXTENDED: As winds pick up a bit from the east/southeast tomorrow, humidity starts to increase a bit, and that in turn creates a bit more instability that could trigger showers and storms during the day. These will be hit and miss, and not everyone will see rain. A back door cold front sweeps in off a system settled over the Great Lakes, bringing in cooler and less humid air for Thursday and Friday as highs only reach the upper 70s to around 80. The weekend is looking great with low pressure staying over the Mid-South, keeping rain chances at bay at least until late Monday into Tuesday. It gradually gets warmer over Memorial Day weekend, with temperatures topping out in the low to mid-80s Saturday and Sunday to the upper 80s on Monday.
