Tracking climbing temperatures under lots of sunshine

TODAY: Starting off cool again in the upper 40s. Temperatures warm into the mid to upper 70s even with more clouds today.

TOMORROW: Highs reach the 80 mark again to kick off the workweek, with skies staying mostly clear.

EXTENDED: Temperatures continue warming through midweek as we peak in the mid-80s. A subtle atmospheric disturbance could generate some showers throughout the day Wednesday, but rain amounts will be limited. Otherwise, we're dry heading closer to Memorial Day, and a potential cold front moving in late week could drop temperatures somewhat closer to average.
