Tracking a cooler afternoon with late week showers and storms

Today: Afternoon highs reach near 70 degrees as skies become partly cloudy. winds remain out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid-50s with partly cloudy skies and winds out of the northeast at 5-10 mph.

Extended: Wednesday sees warming temperatures back into the early 80s as skies look to become mostly sunny. Thursday night into Friday sees chances of showers and storms arriving with an incoming cold front out of the northwest. Conditions this weekend look dry as a high pressure system slides into the region.
