Tracking scattered storms, patchy fog into early Monday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Patchy fog developing before daybreak. Lows near 60.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms possible. Highs near 70.

EXTENDED: Scattered thunderstorms have been bringing heavy downpours and gusty winds to much of Mid-Missouri this evening, and rain will continue off and on overnight into Monday. Patchy fog is possible before sunrise, with mostly cloudy skies into Monday. Highs on Monday only reach near 70 degrees with a chance for scattered rain and a few rumbles of thunder possible as a front settles to our south. Rain gradually comes to an end Monday night into Tuesday morning, leaving us drier for Tuesday as temperatures try to recover back into the upper 70s. High pressure builds overhead Wednesday and Thursday, bringing highs up into the lower 80s with sunshine. Another cold front moves into the region between Thursday night and Friday, bringing another shot at rain and a few storms for much of Friday. We'll clear out any rain late Friday night, leaving us with a beautiful weekend with highs in the upper 70s Saturday to near 80 on Sunday.
