Tracking isolated storms tonight and tomorrow, continued warm temperatures

TONIGHT: Showers and storms possible near the Lake of the Ozarks, otherwise mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s to around 60.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy with isolated showers and storms possible. Highs in the lower 80s.

EXTENDED: A complex of storms will track across southwest Missouri tonight, potentially clipping areas along Highway 65 and the Lake of the Ozarks before sliding south overnight. Low pressure across southern Missouri could bring isolated to scattered showers and storms to parts of the area tomorrow, with dry time in between. Thursday into Friday, a warm front slowly drifts north across Mid-Missouri, bringing scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder. Temperatures remain in the low to mid-80s. Over the weekend, a cold front works through between Saturday and Sunday, bringing scattered storms each day, and cooler temperatures around 80 on Sunday. We'll be slightly cooler heading into next week as the upper jet stream tries to shift back northwest, bringing temperatures down into the lower to mid-70s on Monday. 7-day rain totals will be in the 0.5" to 1" range.
