Today: Afternoon highs top out into the mid to upper 60s with winds out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. Light scattered showers are expected along and south of highway 50 this afternoon.

Tonight: Showers exit the region after 7 PM as overnight lows cool to the upper 40s with mostly cloudy skies.

Extended: Friday and Saturday sees scattered showers as a cold front pushes through the region. The majority of these showers push through Friday night into Saturday morning with rainfall totals expected to top out up to 1/4" at most. Temperatures cool into the weekend thanks to a cold front bringing Sunday's highs into the lower 60s with winds gusting up to 38 MPH. Next week sees plenty of dry time and sunshine as a high pressure system parks just to the west.
