Tracking a fantastic Easter Sunday

EASTER: Temperatures will be cool in the early morning in the low 40s but quickly warm thanks to sunshine. We're tracking partly cloudy skies today with winds out of the south between 8-10 mph. Highs climb to the low 70s for a picture-perfect holiday!

TOMORROW: Clouds increase early Monday with a weak cold front to the west. This is expected to fall apart as it approaches our area, and only light showers to sprinkles are possible in western Missouri. Otherwise, conditions remain fair with highs still around the 70 mark even with the clouds.

EXTENDED: Dry conditions Sunday and much of the workweek will lead to a low fire risk across the area so keep a close eye on any flames! The week ahead is overall mostly sunny with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 70s. At the end of the week, we could even see highs reaching 80 degrees before a pattern change heading into the weekend.
