Tracking a rinse-and-repeat pattern the next few days

TODAY: Highs are mild again in the upper 50s with a few added clouds from a passing cold front. This disturbance won't be able to produce rainfall until near sundown, with light showers mostly confined southeast of Hwy 54. Trace to a few tenths of an inch of rain is possible with rain exiting before midnight.

TOMORROW: Temperatures take a small hit on Monday behind the cold front, but we still make the low to mid-50s. Another shot of rain is possible in the evening, but this round of precip is trending into early Tuesday with newer forecasts.

EXTENDED: Showers early Tuesday and accompanying cloud cover will likely keep temperatures in the 40s most of the day but the afternoon is looking dry. We keep dry skies through Wednesday, ushering in a dramatic warmup to the 60s. Late week is facing a chance of showers and storms as a robust cold front sweeps through around Thursday into Friday. This is where we'll see the majority of our total rainfall this week, and where we could also see more active weather. Rainfall totals through the next 7 days remain generally below an inch.
