Tracking a week that feels like spring, along with rain chances
TONIGHT: Temperatures dropping back down into the low 40s by the end of the night, with possibilities for light showers. These chances are extended into early tomorrow morning.
TOMORROW: Temperatures warming back up into the higher 50s with partly cloudy skies. Winds at 10-15 mph from the WSW. Tomorrow night the area could also see light showers, but this system is tracking more towards south of I-70.
EXTENDED: We are tracking a trend of chances for showers spread through the rest of the week. The days with the highest likely hood of getting this precipitation as of right now are Monday, Thursday and Friday. Along with this though comes spring-like temperatures into the lower to upper 50s, with the end of the week getting up above average in the 60s. Monday showers will be light and later in the night, possibly moving into early Tuesday morning. We are then staying dry until Thursday where we get our next possibility. As for Thursday, we see this system bringing higher chances for rain that night into Friday, along with chances for thunderstorms. This is where we'll see the majority of our total rainfall this week, and where we could also see more active weather because of the current simulated instability.
