Tracking afternoon and overnight showers with storms

Today: Afternoon highs top out into the mid-40s as winds have switched out of the northwest due to a passing cold front earlier today. Winds gust up to 20 mph. Afternoon showers and storms begin after 5 pm down to the south spanning from Camden county and east towards Rolla.

Tonight: Heavier showers are expected prompting a flood watch until 1 am Saturday due to rainfall totals reaching up to 3". Storms have the potential to produce isolated large hail up to 1" in diameter. Overnight lows cool to the lower 40s.

Extended: Friday continues to see scattered showers with highs into the upper 40s. Saturday sees partly cloudy skies but remains dry with highs into the upper 50s. More chances of rain increase into Sunday afternoon lasting into Monday.
