Tracking overnight storms

Today: Afternoon highs warm to 70 degrees as a warm front looms just to the north of Mid-Missouri. Light scattered drizzles are expected throughout the rest of the afternoon.

Tonight: Storm development begins after 7pm for areas to the north of I-70 as scattered storm cells will begin to pop up. Some strong storms are expected with isolated hail possible. Storms push out by 2 am tonight as overnight lows only reach into the upper 80s.

Extended: Thursday sees a slight cool down as afternoon showers and storms are expected in front of a southeasterly moving cold front. The bulk of the rainfall looks to remain south of Columbia with heaviest amounts expected down towards Rolla where up to 3" of rainfall can be seen. Friday continues to see scattered showers before clearing into Saturday. Showers pick back up once again entering late Sunday into next week.
