Tracking climbing temperatures, workweek showers

TODAY: Winds calm significantly to between 5-10 mph roughly out of the west. High pressure today will keep skies clear and bring highs to the lower 40s.

TOMORROW: Monday is the best time of the week to head outdoors with continued sunshine and temperatures close to the 60s. Clouds fill out late evening as a pattern change takes shape the rest of the week.

EXTENDED: Tuesday sees our first chance for rain, with showers through the late morning and afternoon. Temperatures will continue climbing through the early week period, destabilizing the atmosphere and leading to higher chances for thunderstorms and widespread rain by Thursday/Friday. Several inches of rainfall are possible throughout the week bringing a possibility for minor flooding.
