Tracking a less gloomy start to the week, with more chances of rain
TONIGHT: Throughout the rest of the night, we see chances for light showers staying in the area. To the north of Missouri we see higher chances for flurries. If this system shifts south, our area could see these flurries, but temperatures will be the main limit to seeing any sort of accumulation.
TOMORROW: Clouds will be present in the morning, with temperatures in the mid-30s. Winds will be a little more noticeable at 12-15 mph from the north west, and gusts at 25 mph. Moving through the rest of the day, clouds will be breaking, but winds will still be staying strong in the 12-15 mph range. Temperatures are expected to reach the upper-40s.
EXTENDED: Monday is tracking to be a little colder due to clouds, but Tuesday and Wednesday we are seeing another warming trend. Wednesday and Thursday are going to be our warmest days of the week, reaching the lower-60. The main system we are tracking this week is Thursday night into early Friday morning as a cold front moves over Missouri. Along with this, there are increasing chances for showers Thursday night into Friday morning, and slight possibilities for flurries. Once again, the limiting factor will be temperatures, especially with observing any accumulation. The main effect this cold front will have is dropping our temperatures back down to right under the average for this time of year.
