Tracking spring-like temperatures to start the week, and ending with lots of rain

TONIGHT: Skies clearing up, and calm winds spread through the area. Patches of fog could be observed later in the night, especially around rivers.

TOMORROW: Clear skies are expected with winds picking up, bringing us chances for 30-35 mph gusts. With these winds, it allows us to warm up into the upper 60s for our high. Later in the night, winds will start to calm down slightly, but 30 mph gusts could still be observed. These winds will stay consistent through the night, not allowing for much of a cooldown for Monday morning.

EXTENDED: Monday will be our last noticeably warm day of the week, with chances of reaching the low 70s for our high. The winds from tomorrow will still be present, although not as strong as what we'll see on Sunday. Tuesday we start a trend of cooling down and plenty of chances for rain spread through the entire week. Our first chance to get rainfall is Tuesday night into Wednesday, then chances of rain all throughout Wednesday afternoon. Our highest chance for rain is trending to be Thursday night into Friday morning, and is when we could observe the most amounts. Friday we then see some chances spread throughout the day, but the highest probability to see precipitation is Friday night. For now, Jefferson City is seeing this higher chance, but if the system shifts north, we could observe more. To end the week, we have a lower chance of seeing rain, but it isn't to be counted out. As for temperatures, we are seeing a wide temperature spread during these rainfall events. Right now we are looking at above freezing temperatures, with the below freezing temperatures trending to the far north part of Missouri. If these cooler temperatures creep towards us, then we will start seeing those slight chances of snow.
