Tracking cooler temperatures to end the week before spring warmth returns this weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the upper 30s. Wind chills in the lower 20s by morning.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs near 40. Wind gusts up to 30 mph.

EXTENDED:  As skies clear out tonight, temperatures fall back into the upper 30s but strong winds stick around, bringing wind chills down into the 20s for the morning. Thursday is breezy and chilly with temperatures only topping out around 40, and with a northwest breeze into Friday morning we'll likely see wind chills in the upper single digits. Friday is cold but bright, with highs near 40. A weak disturbance rolls through Friday night, bringing the chance of a few showers or areas of patchy freezing drizzle. I am not expecting impacts with that. Saturday is warmer as we climb back into the 50s with rain staying mainly to our south. Sunday will bring temperatures in the low 60s again, but low pressure moving in from the west/southwest will introduce yet another chance for rain and a few thunderstorms Sunday night into early Monday. We could pick up an additional 1-1.5" of rain with that system through late Monday afternoon. Next week continues to look mild with highs in the 50s on Tuesday and back into the 60s by next Wednesday.
