Tracking temps above normal, and chances for rain later in the week

TONIGHT: Temperatures will be dropping back down into the 40s by the end of the night. We are seeing increasing chances to experience some light sprinkles later in the night, but no measurable amount is expected. Winds will still be blowing from the south-south west at 15-20 mph, with gusts up to 25.

TOMORROW: The sun will be shining and we'll be warming back up, with possibilities to achieve 60 degree weather for our high. Winds will still be blowing from the same direction, but slightly calmer, at 12-15 mph and gusts up to 20. Later tomorrow night we have a weak cold front expected to pass over Missouri, but effects will be at a minimum.

EXTENDED: The reason we won't be able to notice this cold front for long is because Monday we bounce back. Temperatures are expected to reach almost, if not 60 degrees for your high in Columbia, and 62 in Jefferson City. The main system we're tracking this week is a warm front Tuesday night into Wednesday. The reason we're tracking this is because along with it, we have increasing chances for widespread showers across Missouri. Along with this, we are seeing some chances of thunderstorms to accompany this system start to rise. The main rainfall will be observed throughout the day Wednesday, and the warm front mentioned earlier will bring us into the upper 60s. As for amounts, we are still looking at less than or equal to 1/2 of an inch. For the rest of the week, we see temperatures briefly cool off, with the most noticeable being our lows.
