Tracking a mix of temperatures tomorrow, rain and snow Thursday morning

TONIGHT: Breezy and partly cloudy as rain exits northeast. Lows in the upper 30s to around 40.

TOMORROW: Partly sunny with cooler temperatures in the 40s to the northwest, 50s across central Missouri, and 60s near the Lake of the Ozarks. Rain and a wintry mix moving in from the west late.

EXTENDED: We're breezy overnight with lows remaining near 40 degrees. Tomorrow will feature a wide temperature gradient as highs make the 40s for areas northwest including Kansas City, 50s for Columbia and Jefferson City, and 60s for the Lake area and I-44 as a cold front moves in. After midnight, showers move in with rain south of I-70 and a rain/snow mix for points north through about midday Thursday. Road impacts will be minimal, but we could still see a slushy dusting to an inch of accumulation from Columbia to Moberly and the surrounding areas. Travel will be tougher across northern portions of the state where 2-6" of snow is possible. We're much cooler on Thursday as high temperatures only make the upper 30s. Friday morning will be clear and cold with lows falling into the upper teens. After a chilly Friday, we can expect a beautiful weekend as highs reach the 50s on Saturday with near 60 again by Sunday.
