Tracking multiple chances of rain

Today: Light scattered showers remain near Rolla, Missouri and south leading to a mostly dry afternoon across Mid-Missouri. Afternoon highs top out near 50 degrees with winds out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid-30s with mostly cloudy skies. Winds continue out of the northwest up to 5 mph.

Extended: Early Wednesday morning showers will slowly creep their way to the north after 6 AM becoming widespread by the later afternoon hours. Rain continues across the region before exiting early Thursday morning. Some areas to the north and west including counties such as Macon and Chariton could see a light wintry mix with no accumulations expected. Thursday looks to remain drier during the afternoon hours before light showers to a wintry mix and eventually snow moves in early Friday morning. Accumulations currently look to reach up to a trace on the ground Friday morning. This weekend sees sunnier and warmer conditions making for a beautiful Super Bowl Sunday.
