Tracking possible refreeze tonight with falling temperatures

Today: Temperatures meander into the mid-30s with mostly cloudy skies. Scattered light drizzles and flurries will remain possible into the early afternoon hours.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to around 20 degrees with winds remaining out of the northwest. With melting snowfall on roadways and standing water in puddles, the possibility of black ice increases leading to potentially dangerous driving conditions without proper cautions.

Extended: Temperatures continue to cool into Thursday with highs into the upper 20s. This weekend sees an increase in highs back to the mid-40s Saturday before an overnight cold front moves in. This front will bring with it the possibility of a wintry mix Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Temperatures next week remain below freezing.
