Tracking spring-like temperatures the next few days before precipitation returns
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and not as cold with lows in the mid-30s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warm with highs getting into the upper 50s.
EXTENDED: Tonight won't be quite as cold as lows fall into the mid-30s. Expect another beautiful day tomorrow as we get into the upper 50s once again. Wednesday could feature a few more clouds, but we still manage to see highs just under 60 once again. By Wednesday night, I'll be tracking low pressure moving in from the west that will bring rain to the area overnight into Thursday. Cold air is expected to move in from the northwest, and lingering precipitation could change over to a rain/snow mix Thursday morning if the cold air can arrive in time. Right now, impacts look limited, but areas along and north of the I-70 corridor could end up with about a dusting of accumulation if the track of the storm system doesn't change. We'll struggle to get to 40 on Thursday behind the precipitation, and remain in the upper 30s on Friday to end the week. The weekend is looking warmer with highs in the upper 40s on Saturday and lower to mid-50s by Sunday. Rain is possible again by next Monday, but temperatures continue to trend warmer than average.
