Tracking warmer temperatures Friday, precipitation returns Saturday

TONIGHT: Decreasing clouds and a bit a colder with temperatures falling into the mid-20s.

TOMORROW: Warmer with highs in the upper 40s and sunshine to start the day, but clouds return by late afternoon and evening.

EXTENDED:  Clouds gradually clear tonight, allowing temperatures to drop into the mid-20s by morning. Sunshine will warm things up tomorrow, with highs returning to the upper 40s. Late day clouds roll in ahead of low pressure that will move in from the west late tomorrow night into Saturday. A few showers will be possible after midnight with scattered rain into Saturday. Rain amounts will likely stay under 0.1". Cooler temperatures to our north will allow for a few snow showers by late afternoon into the evening, especially along and north of Highway 24. Impacts will be limited with little to no accumulation expected at this time from Brunswick to Paris and points north. A few flurries can't be ruled out on Sunday morning, but clouds will break up a bit with temperatures remaining in the lower 40s during the day. Next week is warmer with highs getting into the lower 50s on Monday as the upper jet stream pushes north. We're looking dry through Wednesday, with another low moving in on Thursday and bringing rain to Mid-Missouri.
