Tracking a cooling afternoon before a late week warm-up

Today: Temperatures will continue to cool into the afternoon hours into the lower 20s with mostly cloudy skies. Winds remain out of the northwest sustained at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool just below 10 degrees as skies begin to slowly clear. Winds die down from the northwest at 4-8 mph.

Extended: A warming trend restarts Tuesday as skies become mostly sunny lasting through Wednesday afternoon. Highs eventually reach into the lower 60s Thursday before chances of rain increase late Thursday night. Chances of rain remain across Central Missouri into Saturday afternoon as highs take a slight dip into the lower 50s.
