Tracking more chilling temperatures and a few flakes this evening
TODAY: Building clouds with wind chills below freezing most of the day. A few flurries are possible this evening with no accumulation expected.
TOMORROW: Even colder as wind chills dive to the single digits in the morning. Sunnier but highs will barely escape freezing.
EXTENDED: A weak cold front moves in late Thursday afternoon, bringing a low chance of flurries. The best chance will be along and south of I-70 with only a light coating on grassy surfaces expected. High temperatures struggle to get to 30 behind this on Friday. The weekend is a bit warmer in the afternoon as we get into the mid-30s on Saturday with more sunshine, and reach the low 40s on Sunday. Next week is warmer as our upper pattern begins to shift, with the jet stream pushing north and sending highs into the low 50s. Thanksgiving could be wet, as we're tracking a low pressure system affecting the Plains and the Great Lakes. Right now, it looks warm enough for it to be mostly rain.
