Tracking flurries tomorrow, bitter wind chills to end the week
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with gradual clearing, 20. Morning wind chill near 12 degrees.
TOMORROW: Increasing clouds with flurries possible by late afternoon or early evening. Little to no accumulation or impacts expected. Highs near 40.
EXTENDED: Tomorrow starts off cold with lows dropping to around 20, but the breeze will bring wind chills into the lower teens. A weak cold front moves in toward late afternoon, bringing a chance of flurries. The best chance will be along and south of I-70. I am not expecting accumulation on roads, but we could have a light coating on grass. Behind the front, Friday is cold with temperatures in the teens in the morning, and a wind chill between 8-10 degrees. High temperatures struggle to get to 30. The weekend is a bit warmer in the afternoon as we get into the mid-30s on Saturday with more sunshine, and into the low 40s on Sunday. Next week is warmer as our upper pattern begins to shift, with the jet stream pushing to the north and sending highs into the low 50s. Thanksgiving could be wet, as we're tracking a low pressure system affecting the Plains and the Great Lakes. Right now, it looks warm enough for it to be mostly rain.
