Tracking flurries and frigid conditions to end the week
THIS AFTERNOON: Partly cloudy and breezy with wind chills in the mid-20s.
TOMORROW: A weak front approaches from the north during the day. This will keep our northern counties topped out in the upper 30s while those south of I-70 climb to the mid-40s. Expect wind chills to dwell in the 30s.
EXTENDED: The front will bring a chance for light snow showers on Thursday evening, and drop us back to about 30 for Friday's high temperature. Overnight temperatures dip into the teens starting Thursday night, with wind chills falling into the single digits Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings. The upper pattern begins to flatten out a bit into early next week, allowing temperatures to get closer to average in the low to mid-50s.
