Tracking a big warm up just in time for the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows in the mid-30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s to around 70.

EXTENDED: It's not as cold tonight as a few clouds move through and temperatures dip into the mid-30s. Tomorrow is much warmer as highs get back to near 70, and we warm up even more for the end of the week on Friday as gusty southwest winds push us up to about 80. Mizzou Homecoming weekend is warm but we stay dry with temperatures in the mid-50s early Saturday morning, and 60s for the parade. Afternoon highs reach near 80 and will be similar on Sunday, but I'm tracking the chance for a few rain showers Sunday night. A cold front slowly works across the region between Monday and Tuesday, bringing showers and a few rumbles of thunder, adding up to about 1-1.5" of rain by Tuesday afternoon. The front will bring cooler air too, with highs near 70 on Monday, and in the low 60s by Tuesday.
