Tracking morning fog, summer like temperatures

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with patchy fog developing overnight. Lows in the mid-upper 50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and hot with highs in the upper 80s.

EXTENDED: As temperatures drop with light winds and clear skies overnight, we could see some patchy river valley fog again by morning. Tomorrow and the rest of the week will be warmer than average with high temperatures in the upper 80s and sunshine. I'll be tracking a weak disturbance to our north on Saturday morning, but the best rain chance looks to stay just to our north. The upper pattern is quite stubborn through the weekend and looks to hold on into next week, which means no sweater weather or pumpkin spice vibes for us even as we close in on the first day of fall next Thursday. Highs reach the upper 80s to around 90 each day, and humidity does increase a bit between Sunday and Tuesday.
