Tracking a pleasant and brief cooldown

Today: Scattered showers exiting east by early morning. Clouds follow this afternoon though highs only hit the low 70s/upper 60s.

Tomorrow: Clear and chilly at the bus stop as lows dive to the low 50s. Expect another gorgeous day in the 70s with barely a cloud in the sky!

Extended: High pressure dominates the region again for the workweek, keeping conditions dry and allowing the heat to build. Highs steadily rise to the upper 80s again by the second half of the week, just above average for early to mid-September. The ridge of high pressure looks to flatten out a bit next weekend, opening the door for disturbances and rain chances to move in.
