Tracking a fantastic afternoon

TODAY: A few clouds pop up during the heat of the afternoon but conditions remain fair in the mid-80s. Sunburn is possible for unprotected skin in as little as 20 minutes as the UV Index reaches an 8.

TONIGHT: Clouds clearing through the night. Another cool morning at the bus stop with lows in the lower 60s.

EXTENDED: Conditions remain seasonable all week long with a slight warmup to the upper 80s before the weekend. Rain chances are hard to come by due to stable high pressure to our north, but this pattern finally begins to shift for the late half of this week. Mid-MO still likely won't see much activity until early next week as moisture returns, and an otherwise seasonal end to August is in store.
