Tracking lower humidity this week, weekend storm chances
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and comfortable with lows in the mid-upper 60s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and hot with highs in the lower 90s.
EXTENDED: Tomorrow and Thursday will be similar to today with comfortable nights in the upper 60s and highs in the lower 90s with sunshine. Friday is looking a touch warmer with a chance of a few storms after midnight. Over the weekend, a stalled front will allow several disturbances to trigger a few rounds of storms between Saturday and Sunday. The best chances are likely overnight both days, adding up to potentially half an inch of rain depending on the track of these storm complexes. Severe weather chances are low, but a couple storms may be on the stronger side on Saturday evening. That said, upper high pressure begins to move back east in our direction, setting us up for another week of intense heat as highs reach the mid-upper 90s by Tuesday. Late week, there's a chance we could get close to 100 degrees again for air temperatures. Depending on how the high pressure ridge shapes up, we could end up with some storm chances, but not a big enough system to cool us down significantly.
