Tracking a sunny Sunday and a quick warmup tomorrow

Today: Patchy fog possible early. Highs rise slightly to near 90 degrees with plenty of sunshine to soak up!

Tomorrow: Southerly winds boost temperatures to the 90s by late morning with a heat index near triple digits in the afternoon.

Extended: Enjoy the seasonable end to the weekend before brutal summer heat moves in quickly tomorrow. As a cold front sweeps in Monday night we may catch an isolated storm or two but rain chances are extremely limited across the region this week. The front will still deal a minor blow to temperatures as highs the rest of the week dwell in the low 90s. Mid-Missouri, especially the southern half, is already seeing drought conditions arise and this will likely be exacerbated by the dry week ahead; be sure to water outdoor plants!
