Tracking warm and humid air making it feel like triple digits

TODAY: Temperatures this morning are about 5 to 10 degrees warmer than they were 24 hours ago. This will give today a very good chance of outpacing yesterdays temperatures by a few degrees. With a largely similar forecast, temperatures will climb faster and farther than Monday. Expect highs in the low to mid 90s Tuesday afternoon under mostly sunny skies. With dewpoints in the 70s, expect it to feel like 100 degrees this afternoon. Some cloud cover will try to develop, which would help keep temperatures a bit cooler, but as of now, that is looking less than likely.

TONIGHT: This warmth will carry into the overnight. Still close to 80 degrees by midnight, temperatures cool into the low 70s by sunrise under mostly clear skies.

EXTENDED: By Wednesday morning, a few more clouds have entered our skies, from storms to our west. Our large high pressure aloft will likely keep the rain away, but some clouds may make their way in. Still, mostly sunny skies will remain the forecast as these clouds shouldn't make us overcast, and they won't stay long. Temperatures will strike 90+ again, but likely a little cooler than Tuesday, which should be the hottest day this week. Thursday, is looking like our last 90 degree day, with storms approaching by Friday as this pattern collapses. Expect rain chances Friday and Saturday to cool us into the 80s.
